House Helmudson
The northern lands are controlled as they have been for decades by a Jarl family of Norland descent by the name House Helmudson. Not that it means the territory is not aligned totally with the crown...but it doesn't mean otherwise either.
Though ruled of Norl descent, the house has always embraced the religions and culture of the main land. Most evident by their love of horseback and agriculture over pillaging the coasts and seas.
The family is headed by the aged yet still powerfully built Ulf Helmudson and his almost of age daughter Kaetilvi.
Of all the houses in Alaron, House Helmudson's future seems less certain as the only living heir not only is yet to take a partner... but has shown no interest in regal life to follow.
