The branch of the So Family involved in the production, transport and trade of illegal narcotics.

Structure

Management

Like all organizations under the So Family, Fimerip Tabasa is lead by a direct relative of the head of the family. Currently, this is So-Meni, the oldest child of So-Girun and So-Tike.
Next in the hierarchy are the so-called bopruta zugmi or "sea supervisors". As the name indicates, each of them is in charge of a region surrounding one of Ranul's seas. Those regions, in turn, are divided into mida or precincts, roughly aligned with the different cities (zak) and precincts of the vast zakdengok. Each one of them is home to at least one legal business that serves as a front for Fimerip Tabasa's operations.

Operations

This is where the clear structure ends. Starting at the legally sound organizations, employees of Fimerip Tabasa maintain complicated connections to less-honorable people with their own complicated connections to even shadier folks.
At the end of the chain there are farmers who harvest the raw materials for the production of narcotics, laboratories that extract or synthesize psychoactive substances from those materials, dealers who sell the finished products and mercenaries who support those basic operations.

Public Agenda

Officially, So-Meni leads a company named "Finulenti" which invests in a large number of restaurant chains, as well as some of their food suppliers. Most people dining at the restaurants in question are not even aware that they are part of a chain, let alone that they are under control of the So Family.
Those who do know about the connection tend to joke a lot about the rumors surrounding the family. But since the Securer Force is still busy untangling the obfuscated, plausibly deniable connections between So-Meni and the actual criminal activity, the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" still holds.

Assets

Products distributed by Fimerip Tabasa include every drug known on Ranul, and a fair number of drugs that are still in development. Siluza is one of their staples, followed by Taseke. Besides the drugs themselves they are also involved in selling the required utensils, such as syringes or pipes.
Additional support, like weapons for the hired mercenaries or the removal of digital traces, can be obtained from other branches of the So Family.
