Fisilunto
The "Farmer's Port" is a major trade hub in southern Zakidema.
Infrastructure
The northeastern bank of the Lehomiglo River is fortified with concrete. It features numerous mooring points and extendable ramps which connect to cargo ships for transfering the goods.
The old motorway's access point lies at the border between the port and the commercial zone further inland. It links Fisilunto to Nomolmi via the Kis Fisilunto bridge across the Lehomiglo River.
Districts
The mooring rim mostly consists of open space for unloading and sorting cargo containers. Only a few small operations buildings are scattered here and there.
An array of warehouses is found behind them, connected to the road network and providing landing spaces for overland carrier drones.
The inner belt of the port holds the administrative buildings of the port authorities and the offices of various logistics companies.
History
The port gets its name from the agriculture that used to define Zakidema Up. While the rich and powerful used to live north of the Zaldemaru River, the southern farmlands were responsible for providing food and other products to the settlement. Fisilunto was crucial for shipping these goods across the water.
In modern times, watercraft still play an important role in distributing raw materials and finished products across Ranul. When Zakidema became the administrative hub for Western Redo-Iv, the importance of Fisilunto and its northern counterpart grew even more. Today they handle anything from fresh vegetables to handmade luxury clothes and 3D printing supplies.
