Zot Goran
The capital of K'ul Goran is bewildering to most who come their for the first time. Streets are very short and turn off at odd angles, sometimes completely doubling back on themselves, which creates a vast labyrinth throughout the city. Navigation without a guide is almost impossible. Of course, minotaurs and aerotaurs have no problem here. The air genasi just spend a lot of time learning.
The low hum of The K'ori along each street fills the air with gentle background noise, which gets increasingly prominent towards the central hill with the Senate buildings. The stone note rings dotted along buildings are very particularly structured in the capital, so that at noon each day, the winds (being fairly consistent) begin to blow through the rings in a certain pattern, and a low droning song soars out from the Senate. For a quarter of an hour, it sings out the national anthem of K'ul Goran.
A teleportation circle buried deep in a set of ambassadorial buildings in the city allows for easy access for those few who have been given permission to use it. The sigils are updated a few times a year and updated with those still permitted for security. The last thing they want is for an invasion to come from within the city, though if it did happen the invaders would struggle to find how to even get out of the building, so maze-like is its structure.
Zot Goran is also a demonstration of the culture and learning so endemic to the nation. Theatres and colleges are dotted throughout the city. Given the number of temples and shrines to Milil, most of these colleges also focus on the arts, and music is particularly celebrated in Goranian culture.
