Common Fauna

Common Fauna in The Isles of Isaiath is considered those that are likely to be seen when travelling to the particular region or area they are housed by.

Bear

The bear is commonly found in The Mountainside and The Forest regions. Most notably they wear a black or brown coat in the Forest region as opposed to a white coat in the Mountainside. The large animal generally minds its own business unless provoked or affected by a strain of Forest Infection.

Rats

Rats are a plague in any major city, they dwell in sewers, dirty streets and quite regularly peoples houses, they can be found in all regions but The Mountainside. Rats can come in regular and dire size, although the dire rat is a rare occurrence, they generally are the size of a German Shepard dog. Rats can carry all sorts of nasty diseases such as the Black Death.

Deer

One of the most common large animals in The Isles of Isaiath are the deer, who come in a variety of colours and sizes. They can be found anywhere in continent, other than the dark forests behind Purude.

Mountain Lion

Mountain lions are common in The Mountainside region but can also be found in The Crownlands. They can come in a variety of colours depending on their environment, the animal is known to travel in packs and stalk small groups of people whilst avoiding larger parties. Mountain lions have been known to always attack singular adventurers and feast on their flesh, such as Eddison Hacket.

Birds

Crow, Pigeon, Cardinal, Mocking Bird, Woodpecker, Fantail, Myna, Eagle and Plover birds can be found throughout various regions of the Isles.

Other Less Significant Animals

Rabbit, Farm Animal, Insect, Racoon, Snake, Crocodile, Fox, Boar and Wolf.
