Sons of Titus

Demographics

The capital is heavily human populated with occasional dwarves travelling from Odum, elves are a rare sight at Titus, due to the history on the land it sits.

Infrastructure

Titus has thick and high stone walls surrounding the main city, due to this the keep itself only has a small stone wall surrounding it within the city. The streets of Titus are smelly, dirty and sprawling with homeless, all the streets are busy at most times of the day, taverns and brothels are always full. Outside of the large walls there is many smaller villages surrounding the city, they are farmers and herders.

History

When the humans first arrived in Isaiath and began construction of their first grand kingdom Titus, they initiated conflict with the Elves who already resided on the land. This lead to one of the most historical wars in the Isles history. Many men were slain, the Elves had a huge advantage in the form of their powerful magic, which stomped the lesser spells of the human battle mages. However head Warmaster Districtus Carson lead his Majesties men to victory after coming to an agreement with the Elves that they would fight the battle in open land. The Elves were unaware at the time of advanced machinery such as balista and catapults, after being barraged with artillery fire for hours, Elven Prince Aedan Nurices was slain by Ser Blagoney Wystor ultimately causing the end of the war. After the conclusion of the war, a battle of politics took place leading to peace between Human and Elf, this was at the cost of the Elven land they so valiantly fought for and a purging of high tier spell books they possessed. The city of Titus has long been a controversial topic between the two races. The powerful magic ban lead to many spells being forgotten in time, causing modern day Elves to feel robbed of ancestral knowledge. The hate of the city means the population of Elves in Titus is non existent and racism towards them from peasants to royalty is common.

Tourism

Being the capital, Titus is a busy city with many travelling in and out. Those of lesser born tend to travel here for the large multitude of markets and shops, whereas high born and nobels generally come due to meetings with King.

Natural Resources

Due to Titus being the first human made city along with it being the capital, most natural resources around it's local area have been harvested, mined or hunted. This natural resource shortage leads to it being on of the biggest trade cities.
