The Week of the First Voyage

The Week of the First Voyage is a massive traditional event on a far larger scale than others such as The Annual Carriage Race and The Wanderers Cup. The event takes place every five years in the capital of Sons of Titus, it commemorates the time in which mankind first arrived at The Isles of Isaiath in 2201 AE.
Noble houses from all across the continents will travel to the capital in order to make an appearance. Many entertainment performances are on display during the week the event runs, decorated fighters will appear in The Fighting Grounds, circuses featuring contortionists, acrobats, mummers, fire breathers, strongmen and sword swallowers are all present along with animal performances, rides, archery contests, arm wrestling contests, drinking and eating contests all take place. An important jousting contest is also held, in which many aim to place first in front of the King himself. With these events also comes a variety of vendors from all over the four known continents, beer gardens, hair braiders, face painters and fortune tellers can all be found.
Security is at an all time high during the week, the royal and city guards all patrol vigorously along with the assistance of hired Wanderers. Since all sorts of people attend the event, precautions must be high, it is speculated that members of Equalitem and The Bastard Guild use the event to conduct operations.
