Barony of Catena

Comprises of the lands west of Redehall and south of Risevar. Situated at a prominent intersection of trade roads, Catena boasts many fine inns, coaching houses, taprooms and market villages. Along the riverbanks of the Fossian, Catenan ferrymen ply their trade, bringing over barges full of Risevar grain and millet. Originally part of Bridemare and Ninetaver, a portion of lands was allocated to the Barony of Catena by Symund Dillestone as a reward for House Ildrafn's role in The Bloody Harvest, the coup that accelerated the downfall of King Robern.

Assets

The Barony boasts many well-worn roads and coach houses, as a great deal of trade passes through their borders. The roads southwest to Bridemare, however, have seen an increase in banditry of late since the end of The Tambar Rebellion , and many believe surviving insurgents are encamped within the deep woods between their respective baronies.
