Crux
Crux was born to a skilled Arcadian engineer and showed aptitude in his father's work from a young age. Together they developed the first prototype Lycan weapon, a modular firearm that can be adjusted to suit different engagement needs. Seeing the value of the invention, Thaler had Crux's father killed and their invention stolen.
Crux attempted to steal his legacy back only to be caught by Thaler himself. In exchange for letting him stay out of prison, Thaler requested all information Crux had on the specifics of the weapon design (details he used to mass produce the Lycan weapon line) along with his service as security on an expedition team to Aldas.
Crux worked as a member of the Godkillers to end the terror of Balimor. When the war was over he and his friend from the team Naluda went into mercenary work for Thaler. That work included being the bodyguard of Maximilian Caelos V. The position was one that he would quickly betray when he was put against friends of his who had arrived to assassinate the prince. Having earned the ire of arguably the most powerful man in the world he went on the run to Iocrias and worked as a bounty hunter there.
Crux was hired by people secretly working for his former friend and teammate Asch Figthorn to assist in getting them access to The Well. He came into conflict with the Terrasque Slayers several times before finding out who they were and their relation to his old friends. Once he switched sides he ended up becoming the wielder of the Holy Mythril Blade Thorn and assisted in killing the Terrasque and defending the others when they fought Asch at the Well.
With Thaler dead and able to return home safely he offered for Naluda to comfortable retire in Arcadia with him at the property he inherited. Both tired and willing to settle down after their adventures they resolved to live the rest of their lives in comfort together.
