A Pithecine refugee that was taken to Loredas, he was given up for adoption and raised by a wealthy family that allowed him to pursue his passion for engineering. His family connections got him a job at Waterfront Industries where he became a top designer of the Lycan series weapons.
When the company collapsed after Thaler's death, his associate Vorrda gathered several of the engineers and all the design documentation and ran, starting Entropy Inc with the spoils. He attempted to recruit Etu to his company, but unwilling to work with someone who only profited off of other people's visions he turned down the offer. He attempted to move to The Coil to see if he could make a life there, but Vorrda had the airship sabotaged. The ship was saved by Kyer sending it into the The Feywild.
He was found by the Enemies of the Taken and joined them on Tortuga looking for a place to live. He assisted them with their adventurers until finding like-minded people in Brazenthrone and agreeing to stay there to share engineering expertise.
