When Tasir left for Iocrias, he wanted to come back strong enough for Jakki to recognize his power and welcome him into the Time Squad. However, once he and Phantom landed from their first real flight together and Phantom held Tasir's paw in his own, passing on leadership of the island to his son before peacefully passing on, Tasir decided almost immediately to drop the Time Squad dreams and to live on in Phantom's footsteps as leader.

Tasir used his connections to Fortune Networks and the Time Squad to open a diplomatic relationship between Unity and Haven, since the two settlements have similar goals in mind. When he passed, leadership of the island went to his son Kier.
