Tyran

Tyran was an accomplished sea captain from the Sapphire Isles. At the age of 7 he became a successful sailor apprenticing under his mentor and captain. After an accident during a storm sea leading to the captain's death he successfully led his crew to get the ship to safety. After earning command of the ship he eventually bought it out from the shipping company he worked for and used it to find lost and damaged vessels and rescue their crews.
After establishing fame and adoration of Sapphire Islanders word of his exploits spread. Edwin Valthiem, the Lord of the Isles recommended him for training to pilot the newly designed airships. Tyran trained for four years, his reputation setting high expectations even among the highly accomplished candidates. Despite the stress, he performed well and was selected to be a pilot for the coming wave of exploratory ships. He was the pilot for the Godkillers ship for the entirety of their conflict against Balimor.
The expert Lordasan Salamander pilot and navigator was later employed with Nimbus Industries transporting well funded adventurers to the newly discovered lands. His ship was attacked by the Hydra until he turned up at the Singing Towers affected by The Wandering Plague. Tasir went out to try and find help for him eventually returning with the cure though not soon enough to save him, though his spirit was able to assist in fighting the Servant of the Plague to allow them to get the cure spread among the people.
