Other Races - Monstrous and Rare

The following races are player character options that are not native races to The Lost Lands. Some of these may experience fear, suspicion or outright hostility in some areas of the world, and the player will be one of the few of their kind if any others exist at all. The character is assumed to have found a community or other player that accepted them, and it is recommended (though not required) to play a good character to counter-act the assumed evil nature of some of the races origins.
Some of the following are medium sized versions of otherwise large creatures, such as the centaur. This is for balance reasons, and it is assumed that you are either a runt of the race, the result of a wizards experiment, or some other lore justification for why you are medium sized.
There will be an example reason given as to where your character may have originated, but you are welcome to work out your own lore at the approval of your DM. Some of the following are UA races while others are homebrew found online and modified a bit for balance purposes, and as such these should only be played with DM approval.

Kitsune

Kitsune are a race of fey descendant foxes that take on a humanoid form.

Warforged

Warforged are a biological construct given sentience.

Minotaur

Minotaurs are smaller than the monstrous form, and more enlightened than their beastial relatives.

Centaur

Centaurs are smaller than their large half-horse cousins, and more prone to seeking out civilization.

Fallen Succubus

Fallen Succubus have escaped the Abyss before the transformation into a demon was complete.

Satyr

Half Goat and half man, Satyr are natives to the feywild.

Githyanki

The Githyanki are Psychic raiders of the astral sea, who plunder the material plane from their Astral fortresses in service of the lich queen.

Githzerai

Residents of the plane of limbo, the Githzerai are a calm race devoted to the mysteries of the inner self.
