Diplomatic action
The leaders of the Dwarven clans traveled from Datan Gor to the foot of the Icepick Mountains in the Knees of the Year 729BF, helmets in hand.
Near the mouth of the Tauran tunnels, the Dwarven leaders met with the Tauran Cho-tah to finalize the terms of the peace treaty agreed upon the previous year. Datan Gor presented the Tauran people with a scroll fashioned from solid gold that swore an end to attacks on the Tauran people and their homelands, reestablished free and fair trade between the Dwarven and Tauran races, and a declaration that the Dwarves of Lykos owed a Debt of Apology to the Tauran people.
The terms of the final clause in the treaty were to be determined solely by the Tauran people, and were offered without expiration. This peace treaty is now known as the Promise of the Pikes.
