Five years after the Promise of the Pikes, a Dwarven emissary arrived at the gates of the Tauran homeland with an invitation to establish an embassy at Datan Gor. The missive was accepted, but no response from the Taurans was forthcoming. The following year, and for the six year following, a Dwarven emissary visited the Taurans - each time bearing an invitation to establish an embassy. As in each subsequent year, the missive was politely accepted without a response offered.
