Cragmaw Hideout

The Cragmaw Clan established a small base of operations in a cavern north of Triboar Trail just along the southern edge of the Neverwinter Woods, east of the town of Phandalin. Near the trail, they waited to ambush travelers and steal goods to help build their small, burgeoning empire. They were also under specific orders from Klarg the Bugbear to find, attack, and keep alive Gundren Rockseeker and Sildar Hallwinter. Their orders included stealing a map to Wave Echo Cave and delivering Gundren Rockseeker directly to King Grol at the Cragmaw Castle.
While traveling from Neverwinter to Phandalin, the Owl Friends adventuring party were caught off guard by the goblin ambushers, though they were successful in dispatching them. Magnolia Everbloom was able to track the goblins via a hidden trail to the hideout. It was there they were able to rescue Sildar Hallwinter and clear the cavern of the goblin threats.
Klarg, however, was able to flee and remains at large in the wild.
