Temporal Manipulation

Roshan has very small temporal manipulation abilities that allow her to 'isolate a moment'. Basically, they can freeze time around things, pausing them. They can affect individual objects (several different ones one after another) or everything within a certain range. This lasts until they decides to cancel the effect or until external forces act upon the things they've frozen.

Personal history

Roshan was born into a large, wealthy family. They were loved but often felt like the odd one out. They wanted nothing more than to be a Sailor Senshi when they were growing up and wanted to attend the Areto Iphito Academy like two of their older siblings had done. However, they were deemed unsuitable and this was crushing to hear at the age of eight.
So Roshan had to make do with attending the second best school in the Merope System (as this is the system where the Academy is located). Just as they were due to graduate, they were approached by the Lambda Project with an offer; to take part in a trial that wanted to give senshi abilities to civilians. Roshan was one of a several selected who hadn't quite made the cut to get into the Academy. The technology used was good but not perfect - abilities were granted but side effects included nausea, chills, aches, fever and blackouts, all of which Roshan suffered. The more they used the technology, the longer they suffered afterwards.
Ultimately, the project was shut down. Roshan and a handful of others fled with the technology - not wanting to let go of the power they'd wanted for so long and finally possessed. They were hunted down by members of the @Senshi Council and while Roshan lasted longer than most, they were tracked down by the newest senshi, Sailor Atlas. When they were found, Roshan resisted and a fight broke out, which resulted in the Lambda technology breaking and Roshan needing hospital treatment.
Roshan was in hospital for a while, the incident leaving them temporarily quadriplegic. They received a visit from Kalani Luna (Sailor Atlas) and whilst they thought it was so Kalani could rub her senshi status in their face, it was quite the opposite. Kalani revealed to Roshan that they were in fact a true senshi - Sailor Kairos - and the reason they suffered so badly from the Lambda technology was because the Kairos crystal was rejecting it. Roshan didn't take this news all that well - and needed some convincing. Then, before she left, Kalani handed over a piece of paper with an address on it, saying it was incase Roshan ever needed somewhere to stay.
When they were discharged, Roshan went back home and lived with their parents for a while as they recovered. However, they were reminded that this was only a short-term thing as their parents didn't want to show favouritism by allowing Roshan to continue living with them when their older siblings had been made to move out once they finished school.
With nowhere else to go, Roshan went to the address Kalani had given them. They only intended to stay there as a temporary measure, until they got their feet under them, but that was two years ago and they haven't left yet.
