Continuing our adventure in the The Crypt of Whispering Sorcerers, we pick up the action where Father Raddel resumes his perilous plan to traverse the dangerous carpet of brown mold. As he implements his risky strategy, we are left to wonder: will Father Raddel survive this daring attempt, or will it lead to another life-threatening encounter? The tension mounts as his life is in balance.

Exploration of the Architects Level Continues

The journey begins tragically with Raddel attempting to cross a carpet of freezing brown mold. A fatal stumble results in his immediate freezing from the inside out, marking his end.

Following this mishap, a block trap is lifted from the squished adventurer, revealing valuable treasures previously carried by him.

In the southern section, the party discovers a showering platform and a loue, alongside a tirelessly cleaning air elemental swirling within the privy chamber.

Druld engages with the air elemental, giving it the task "Clean up on Isle 6." It promptly begins to scrub away the deadly brown mold that claimed Raddel's life.

The cleaning efforts stir up brown mold spores throughout the area due to the elemental's cyclonic motion.

Pockets takes advantage of the now safer path to enter the Workshop, where he finds a masterfully crafted statue holding a segmented wooden staff, divided into (7) equal parts.

Additionally, a mysterious egg covered in runes is discovered. Attempts to remove it from the room result in it violently shaking and zooming back to its original resting place on the shelf.

As the party prepares to leave, short on both torches and time, they attempt to transport Raddel's frozen body.

In the midst of darkness, Godfrey unexpectedly falls through a hole in the ceiling. He appears as a panicked treasure hunter with strangulation marks around his neck.

Behind him lurks a hideous aberration, a creature made of sinew and tendon connecting two floating eyeballs.

A brief but fierce battle ensues, with Pockets & Horjak swiftly dispatching the monstrous entity.

The Return Trip

The group exits the Crypt, cautiously transporting Raddel's rigid body, and makes a quick, uneventful return to Westkeep, fortunate to avoid further dangers.

RIP - Raddel; a somber farewell is held, and Halfdan the merchant appears to ominously "Return Raddel to the Soup." Raddel is left unburied in the woods outside Westkeep, an offering to the beasts of chaos.

A carousing event follows, a robust celebration of life and the sorrow of loss, not without its consequences. Osgar Cazyach encounters a Winter Yeti during his downtime activities, leading to a tense standoff with the disturbed and now enraged creature in its cave.
