Nolwë Loremyst
Growing up in the capitol, Nolwë had no shortage of books to read on every subject. Whenever her mother couldn't find her, she would be up in the boughs of the trees in the Ironwood Grove with her head stuck firmly in some dusty tome she snuck, borrowed or stole from one of the wizards in the city.
Some decades after her mother took back to the sea, Nolwë encountered a shock of yellow in the grove one day. Certhon seemed wholy out of place, a Wood Giant in these frozen lands is not a common sight outside of the simply (and very warmly) dressed Ironwood conservationists, and this one seemed lost.
He was on a quest to know more of his Giant heritage and their air magic, but had been traveling underequipped and without a clue. Now that he had found what should be the repository of all he sought, he wasn't quite sure which page to turn next.
But he was handsome and naive and charming, and more importantly, he had been to places she knew little to nothing about. What began as Nolwë offering him direction became engrossing conversations about all they both knew that the other did not.
He found lodging in the city, and they continued to meet for their talks in the Ironwood Grove, and quickly fell for the novelty of each other. Before long they were an item, and not long after that she was with child.
After their daugher was born, Certhon suggested they make their way to Alfheim, to raise her through her youth in the beautiful flowering forests of his homeland. Having never been on a real adventure, and having no close ties to anyone in Jotunheim, she agreed, and they set off in the early 1800s.
Neither they nor the child was ever heard from again, although some shredded yellow cloak was found later by hunters in Fend Pass.
