Demon War

In 4042 MA, the combined forces of Youk Kingdom and the Hrakken Empire fought a battle with the combined forces of the Princeship of Lamlou and Prost near the town of Mildale. The shear amount of violence enacted on that day opened a portal to the Abyss. This event has become known as the Mildale Disaster. Thousands of Demons spilled from the portal, invading all the surrounding lands killing, possessing, and ravaging the people living there. In time, the nations of the area realized they could not stand alone against this threat. They sent representatives to negotiate an alliance. The result was the creation of the Western Coalition, which fought their way to Mildale, slew Bahlnor Blackhorned, and sealed the portal for good.
