Sons of the Sentinel

The Sons of Sentinel are a group of Knights who have tasked themselves with the service of The Solemn Sentinel.  They are champions of justice and righteousness in the South West, most predominantly in Prost, where The Church of the Trinity holds sway.  The majority of their order remains in Prost to defend the nation and to ensure that the law is kept.  
Although they were formed separate from The Church of the Trinity, within the last thousand years, they have truly become an extension of the Church's will more than their own organization, with many of the Grandmasters of the order being beholden directly to the Greatpriest of the Church.
When a young man has proven himself worthy of the honour is granted the title of Son of the Sentinel and is given a shield that will enable him to notice things he might otherwise miss and spur him into motion when others would freeze.
