Wordshield

Wordshields are the lowest ranking full members of The Fellowship of Quill and Sword's Research Division. They accompany their Pageknights on field operations while also persuing their own research, as well as martial training.

Qualifications

Wordshields are picked from the ranks of Inkhands by a Pageknight after at least two years of service as an Inkhand.

Appointment

Upon being sponsored by a Pageknight, the Wordshield is granted a tome of their own to begin their research.

Responsibilities

Wordshields are expected to pick a field of research to specialize in, but additionally must undergo martial training. They are expected to accompany their Pageknight on field opperations.
