Duhem's Stand
Named for the First Queen of Raen’dor, Imogen Duhem, this city was built around a fort from which Duhem led the final assault on the Undying King, storming his castle and at last destroying the phylactery that had allowed him to return so many times before. Now colloquially referred to as "The Stand", the city carries its legacy in its architecture, heavily fortified and imposing even as its narrow streets bustle with activity. Duhem's Stand is ruled by Lady Astrid Cadwal, Lord Rowan’s elder sister and the matriarch of the noble Cadwal family.
