An illithid who was escaped the hive mind they had been a part of in the Underdark; was found by the Adventurer's Guild and allowed to join the faculty after demonstrating considerable knowledge of the arcane. A bit off-putting, but seems to genuinely want to help students learn. Never without his familiar, a pet cat named Lunch.
