Professor Ira Kerris
One of the professors of martial weaponcraft at Nightcrest. Kind of an asshole; very critical of students' technique, and gets annoyed when asked questions or challenged in any way. Fantasia Honeymeadow was of particular annoyance to Kerris early on, who in turn often picked on her during classes and drills.
During the party's third and final expedition of their first year, they were tasked with delivering Kerris as a "prisoner" to Eiderloch; during this time he taunted them and made thing tough. That dynamic quickly changed, however, when the party encountered the man who murdered Oliver's parents on the road-- Ira fought hard to protect the students, and while he was outmatched it did reveal a more protective side of him rarely seen by the party. After this encounter, he was still gruff and harsh but notably less antagonistic towards the party members specifically.
