The Western Midlands - Region Introduction
The Midlands are a region of hilly fields and sparse woods, where many residents work the land under the close protection of their queen. It is historically one of the most stable realms, producing lots of food from the many farms and remaining mostly peaceful compared to the rest of Raen’dor-- particularly since the defeat of the Undying King. Unbeknownst to its many rural residents, however, this peace has long balanced on a razor’s edge; noble families vie for power and influence in the regions’ capital of Eiderloch, and threats from afar force the Queen and her Court to remain constantly alert.
