Grytack City Council

When the Town council was founded, around 947, the issue of most concern was the ability of four distinct racial communities to work together. Thus, representation was guarenteed based on the timelocal demegraphics. Of the total 9 council seats: 2 would be held by Elven representitives, 2 by Dwarves, 1 seat for a Halfling rep, and 4 seats for the humans.

Historically, these seats were heridatory. When the Free Cities of Awsranka formed, the seats became elected positions, but still distributed by racial groups. Since the Call West, many grumble that the Elves are over-represented.

Today the seats are technically held by elected representatives. However, it is normal for elections to be ... predictable.
