Tevik

Tevik

Tevik is Hewellen, the dominant dwarven culture of the area. He hails from the Forges, but is now a farandi, an itinerant monk, dedicated to meeting people, living amongst them, and helping them out. He is extremely well-meaning, but often mistaken about what the people he's helping would actually find helpful.

Failures & Embarrassments

  • Tevik has yet to manifest any magical competence, this is unusual for a Hewellen of his age. It's a source of shame for him, and part of the reason he left for the monastery as a young lad.
  • the Mushroom incident at Bal Mallard: Tevik innoculated a lumber yard with delicious fungus which fed the town for months, but ruined an entire batch of lumber. This deeply upset the head lumberman, but was a boon to the local inn 'the egg and feather'
  • The disrespectful smith at Glannock: Tevik saw an empty smithy at Glannock whilst passing by and heard several citizens bemoaning the loss of their smith. Tevik decided he could ease their woes by taking over the smithy and filling their need. He did not realise that the smithy was empty due to the deep respect the townsfolk held for the old smith whom they were still mourning.
  • Intellectual Characteristics

  • Tends to trust his gut, does not typically think things through, and prefers to act rather than deliberate.
