The Great Dragon Empire of Kaedia
History
At the base of Yggdrasil, where its roots can be found, the Mother of All Dragons can be found, gnawing at the roots of the infinite tree to keep them from growing forever. This is Níðhöggr, Primus Draco, the origin of all the Draconic races, the Divine Dragons, the Olde Dragons, the Wyverns, and the Hýdras. It was here that an expedition of explorers came to discover her majesty and founded the city Draco Radix at the feet of Yggdrasil. This was the birth of the Cult that came to worship all the Dragon Races.

The Dragon Cultist would breed mortals with Dragons to create the Dragonborne. This race of beings would establish 13 Clans and would fight for dominance of the cult. This war ended with The Ambrosius Clan as the victors and the creation of the Draco Imperium as it is known today. The 1st Pendragon was Séamus Ambrosius III and his line still rules to this day, unchalleneged.
"The Will and the Way"
The Banner of the Dragon Empire is a field divided per pale, red, and then black. A golden dragon rampant charge lies on the red side while a golden laurel wreath lies on the black side. The Dragon symbolizes power, good fortune, and strength and is associated with auspicious traits like intelligence, ambition, and charisma. A laurel wreath is a shrub that was traditionally used to weave wreaths and crowns that were symbols of victory in the sporting events of ancient Greece. Today, a laurel is synonymous with achievement, and a laureate is one whom an award or achievement is bestowed upon. The laurel wreath and the dragon upon the banner send a powerful message, victory belongs to the dragon.

Executive Body
The House of the Dragon is the executive body of the Draco Imperium, composed of the original 13 Dragonborne Houses, their leader is the Ambrosius House who holds the title of Khaṣṣ al-Sultān over the remaining Houses who only hold the title of Sultan. While the Ambrosius House rules the House of the Dragon, each lesser House and its Sultan has authority over their own Galaxy, and their Clans are ruled by a Malik and an Emir under them.
