Meika Varindra- Taryrn
Meika Taryrn was born in the Sunken Collective, to an impoverished family. At an early age she took to the sea, finding a comfort and familiarity with oceangoing vessels. Having been raised in poverty to take whatever she could get away with, she turned her hand to piracy, discovering a natural talent. Her influence and notoriety grew, and with it her ship expanded into a faction: The Marrow Reavers.
On a voyage near the Coral Kingdoms village of Brassica, Meika encountered Tonzir Varindra, a local boat carver. Entranced by his skills, she eventually gave up piracy in order to start a family with Tonzir, passing the leadership of the Marrow Reavers to her first mate Bahrdos.
The people of Brassica never knew Meika's origin, simply knowing her as Tonzir's beloved from the Sunken Collective, and their children grew up never knowing the pirate blood which ran through their veins.
