Aecor's Lull

Aecor's Lull is a small town on the very outskirts of The Sunken Collective, right on the edge of the Stormrift Valley.
Centred around the peak of an underwater island, the town has extended outwards through a series of rafts and jetties, making a ramshackle floating maze. The primary trade of Aecor's Lull is salvage, and for those willing to brave the unpredictable waters of the Stormrift Valley, the rewards can be lucrative.

Points of interest

The Driftwood Market: A bustling hub where traders, smugglers, and salvagers gather. The market is built on interconnected rafts, each hosting makeshift stalls and shops. Here, you can find everything from salvaged artifacts to contraband goods. The market operates day and night, illuminated by lanterns swinging from ropes.
The Tangled Wharf: A maze of wooden jetties and gangplanks, the Tangled Wharf is where ships dock and unload their cargo. It's a chaotic mix of vessels—some seaworthy, others barely afloat. The air smells of salt, fish, and secrets. Rumors suggest that hidden compartments beneath the wharf hold illicit treasures. The Stormwatch Tavern: Perched on the edge of the floating island, this ramshackle tavern offers a precarious view of the Stormrift Valley. Sailors and salvagers gather here to drown their fears in cheap grog. The walls are adorned with shipwreck fragments, and the bartender, Old Finn, spins tales of lost crews and cursed storms.
The Lurking Reef: A treacherous cluster of submerged rocks surrounds the settlement. Salvagers risk life and limb to dive into the reef's murky waters, searching for sunken riches. The Reef Divers' Guild, led by Captain Selene, oversees salvage operations.
The Whispering Pier: A narrow jetty extends toward the Stormrift Valley. At its end stands a weathered lighthouse, its lantern perpetually lit. Locals claim that the lighthouse keeper, an enigmatic figure known as the Whisperer, can predict storms and guide ships to safety. Some say the Whisperer communicates with the spirits of lost sailors.
The Maelstrom Bazaar: A hidden alcove beneath the floating island houses a black-market trading post. Here, shadowy figures exchange forbidden artifacts, cursed relics, and forbidden knowledge. The bazaar operates in secrecy, accessible only through a concealed entrance guarded by the masked Gatekeeper.
The Salvager's Rest: A row of rafts lashed together forms a makeshift inn. Salvagers returning from perilous expeditions gather here to share stories, mend their wounds, and celebrate their successes. The innkeeper, Grizzled Mara, offers warm meals, strong spirits, and a place to sleep—though the creaking rafts make for restless nights.
