Wood Elf
Wood Elves are considered more "primitive" and "savage" when comapred to their extremely aloof and arrogant High Elf cousins; though they share physiological similarities like an extremely long-lived lifepsan lasting several hundred years. The similarities end with biology and the diffrecnes between the two races are seperarated by vastly different cultures. The Wood Elves are the protectors and guardians of the Greatwood Forest. They are the hunters, the gatherers, the soldiers, etc. They love music, dance, and art, but they are more practical than their High Elf counterparts. Despite their long lifespan, Wood Elves believe that fate is fickle, and life can be short so the tend to embrace life with sometimes a wild abandon and can be some of the fiercest of warriors. The Wood Elves do not typically live in Moondeep, but in large villages and small towns built among the tops of the mighty trees of the Greatwood-whose trees are typically one and half times taller than even the tallest oaks in other parts of Galador. Each community is ruled by an elder, who belongs to a council of other village elders which answers to the King and Queen of Moondeep. The Wood Elves do differ in their appearance from the High Elves. Wood Elves tend to possess darker hair and their eyes colors typically are green or brown. Their skin is more tawny, and they typically dress in leathers, and rough woven clothing which is colored to blend them in more with their surroundings.
