High Elf
High Elves have been alive since the time of the one great forest, before the coming of man and the other races. They are the direct discendants of the Faerie sent here by Silvanus to protect the Great Forests. High Elves are far less numerous than their tree-dwelling cousins and are less concerned with day-to-day affairs. The ancient wizards used powerful magics to shape and grow the gigantic, mighty trees of the Greatwood into impossibly tall beautiful spires, and dwellings that rise far above the ground. This magical city is called Moondeep , and non-elves are generally not granted entry. Kalendriel Nerrendrah is king of the Greatwood, his life-partner is Faleraria is queen and all beings and creatures of the Greatwood bend knee to them.
High Elves if not immortal, are extremely long-lived; their lifespan reaching several hundeed years. They hardly ever reproduce, with possibly one High Elf being born every several hundred years. Their alabaster skin is tinged with blue or grey, and their almond shaped eyes are also of lighter colors. Their hair color ranges from blue, to silver and white, to black, blood-red, or platinmum blonde. High Elves are excellent at sword play and the use of a bow, but they tend to focus their energy towards the pursuit of knowledge and the exploration of the mystic arts.
