Night Commander Aella Ravengard

Aella Ravengard was the oldest child of Grand Duke Ulder Ravengard and a Night Commander of the Flaming Fist in Baldur's Gate. She died defending her guard post against the Cult of the Dragon during the Baldur's Gate Uprising.

History

Born in 1468, Aella was treasured by her father, Ulder as his first born. As Aella was coming of age, her father had become both the Marshall of the Flaming Fist and Grand Duke of the Council of Four following his role in the Bhaalspawn Crisis. Desiring to pursue a military career, like her father, Aella was given a role in the Flaming Fist, rising through the ranks quickly due to her personal skill, though many questioned how much Ulder's influence played a role.
By Uktar of 1491, Aella was the Night Commander of Baldur's Gate, responsible for the Flaming Fist in the entire Lower City. On the 12th of Uktar, Aella and the Flaming Fist, assisted by the Watch, under Maxwell Solloway, and the Breadwinners launched an assault that successfully took down the infamous crime lord Lysara the Grin.
During the Baldur's Gate Uprising, on the 14th of Uktar, Aella's guardpost was under siege by members and allies of the Cult of the Dragon. Though The Breadwinners saw this, they chose to prioritize their mission to take out the uprising's leader, Alexander Rake. Though the uprising would be crushed, Allea would lose her life defending her post with her men
