Eluna Lindel is a human cook at the and friend of Necian Arrzen and Destin Hallows.
History
Eluna was born in Focosgost in 1475. In order to help support her family, tailors by trade, Eluna became a cook, serving Lord Joakim Ferox and his family. During this time, Eluna grew close with another young cook, Destin Hallows. In 1493, during the chaos of the Decker Coup, Eluna and Destin attempted to escape the palace, worried about the violent retribution Hargrave Decker and his soldiers would take upon the city's populace. While escaping, the pair met Necian Arrzen, whose parents were also chefs for the Ferox's. With Necian's help, the trio escaped Focosgost and traveled south, before settling in Saltmarsh in early 1494. The Gosts, now friends, rented an apartment in town. Destin took a job at the Snapping Lure, helping its dragonborn owner Hanna Rist. Similarly, Eluna was hired by Lankus Korrad, the owner of the Wicker Goat. For the next several years, Eluna began to accept Saltmarsh as her new home.The Banesmark Crisis
Throughout 1496, Eluna continued working at the Wicker Goat. Following Saltmarsh's induction into the Dunwater Alliance, Eluna joined the Neverwinter Guard and the Mariners in training exercises designed to give the townsfolk a fighting chance if they were attacked at home, though she never took to the spear. While the majority of the Neverwinter Guard and Mariners left to go fight in the Battle of the Spire, Eluna remained behind. Following the Battle of the Spire, Destin, Eluna, and Necian celebrated with a night of drinking that ended with the two boys vandalizing the recently vacant mansion of Anders Solmor. Eluna was working during Gideon Mistmoor's attack during Monster's Eve and missed the chaos. During the later half of 1496, Eluna was one of the Marshers not affected by the Banesmark. Like the rest of the town, Eluna was convinced that the Banesmark was a Shadowfell-based disease. During the 1497 New Year's Celebration, which was delayed until the 4th to allow the Heroes of Saltmarsh to participate, Eluna and Destin remained together most of the night.Personality Characteristics
