Lantern Ghost Killer

The Lantern Ghost Killer was a serial killer in operation in the Styes in late 1496 that spread terror amongst the populace before they were caught by the city guard and brought to the city's asylum. In reality, the killer was a young man named Jarme, who was inflicted with a Banesmark tattoo and forced to kill at the orders of the aboleth S'gothgah.
Losing his mind in the asylum from the mental torture of the aboleth, Jarme began scribbling on the walls ominous portents and references to an aboleth and its ties to Seaton Committee member Mr. Dory. In Nightal of 1496, the Heroes of Saltmarsh met briefly with the insane Jarme and deduced from his drawings the need to infiltrate Mr. Dory's warehouse, ultimately leading them to the aboleth's base in the city.
