Seaton Committee
The Seaton Committee is the ruling council of the city of Seaton, more commonly called the Styes.
Due to the failed nature of Seaton, nearly every member of the committee is a criminal or connected to the underworld, as those are the only people capable of gaining enough power to join the committee.
While most of the members of the Seaton Committee are typically at odds with one another, due to their conflicting criminal interests, they do generally band together to keep outsiders away from the Styes, so as not to threaten their own power.
Structure
In 1496, there were four members of the Seaton Committe.
Mr. Dory was human man, a wealthy warehouse owner, criminal entrepreneur, and willing accompliance to S'gothgah's Cult of Bane. Due to the flesh-warping powers bestowed upon him by the aboleth S'gothgah, Mr. Dory was often reclusive and hid his body in public.
Rashlen, also known as the Beggar Queen, was a elven woman and was the committee member most connected to the criminal world, as she had no legitamate venture to hide behind. Many of the beggars in the Styes were spies for Rashlen.
Sliris was a tiefling woman, owner of the town's mortuary, and a worshipper of Myrkul.
Thornwell was a human woman and was a prolific alchemist. She was the only member of the council not connected to the underworld, as she, like most alchemists in the city, did their research in the Styes due to the lack of regulations.
