Major Ursa
Major Ursa is a Neveren lighthouse keeper stationed on a small island near the Isle of the Abbey. He is a raging alcoholic and good friends, and sometimes lovers, with the nomadic aarakocra Pauline.
On the 25th of Eleasis 1496, the Heroes of Saltmarsh arrived at Major's lighthouse, inquiring about the Isle of the Abbey. Major explained to them that the isle was raided by a Sea Prince in 1492 and everyone on the isle was presumed dead, though none could get on to check on account of the skeletons buried in the Skull Dunes.
On the 26nd of Eleasis, Major's friend, Pauline, asked Micah Pierce and Lyra to recover a ship-in-a-bottle given to Major by his late father that she had accidentally thrown out when tossing his alcohol. The pair managed to recover the gift, which was embedded in the Holy Bud, a kuo-toa created deity, and returned it to Major's house, the lighthouse keeper none the wiser.
