Mirt

(a.k.a. Mirt the Moneylender, Mirt the Merciless, The Old Wolf, Sir Walrus)

Widely believed to be one of the "secret" Masked Lords of Waterdeep, Mirt does little to deny these rumours. He is involved with much within the city and without, far older than he seems to be, he is close with Laeral Silverhand the current Open Lord, and a stern defender of Waterdeep during many occasions over the last century.
Comparatively more discretely, Mirt acts as the leader of the Harpers within the city, closely allied with Remallia Haventree and Renaer Neverember. He is also old friends with Durnan in the The Yawning Portal.
After the retrieval of an Eye of Golorr from the Brandath Crypt, it is entrusted to Mirt for safekeeping.
