Steam & Steel

Steam & Steel is owned and operated by a Genasi couple, Embric & Avi.
Embric is the hot tempered weaponsmith, using his intrinsic control of fire to perfect the temperature of the forge, and shape metals in ways that aren't possible with mundane smithing alone. Avi specialises in armour, using his control of water to help quench and layer metals, shaping detailed work and filigree with expertise.
Both smiths have Guild membership with the Most Careful Order of Skilled Smiths & Metalforgers, Avi also is a member of the Splendid Order of Armourers, Locksmiths, and Finesmiths.
The shop itself is stone-based, the living space of the building held up by pillars above the open plan ground floor, the central forge has a chimney that rises up through the whole structure.
