Geography

Climate:

Very warm and dry. Temperatures may reach 50 degrees celcius during the day, and drop to just about 0 at night.

Surface:

Mostly flat desert. There are a few low mountain ranges. There's about 40% open waters, with the largest bodies of it located above the polar circles.

Weather:

Sandstorms of varying sizes occurs all throughout the year, the biggest ones during the dry periods. There are three rain periods in a year were it rains for a full week, and then not at all for the rest of the year.
