6982nd Imperial Marine Regiment.

The 6982nd Imperial Marine Regiment is a Regiment sized unit of the Third Imperium and is a part of the Imperial Marines. They are one of three Regiments in the 6th Division of the Frontier Corps Star Marines. The 6982nd Imperial Marine Regiment is under 204th Fleet in the Tobia Subsector. History

This unit was heavily engaged with the Aslan Ihatei invasions to the extent that it was broken up for raiding purposed and assigned to individual vessels by the Company or Battalion to the  204th Fleet.  This unit was heavily engaged with the Zhodani in all four frontier wars.  This unit has been heavily involved in ship board actions dealing with pirates of the Trojan Reach and where ever they are needed. The unit is a highly decorated and has been awarded several battle accommodations and battle honors.
