Asis

The Asis was an experimental aircraft developed by Dr Wendy Lawson under the auspices of Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S.

It was the first vehical to use Lawson's Lightspeed Engine, which she intended to provide to a group of Skrull refugees (during the last years of the Kree-Skrull War) to enable them to escape Kree controlled space undetected.

When the Kree Empire tracked Lawson to Earth, Captain Yon-Rogg of the Starforce opened fire on the Asis. The resulting explosion of the lightspeed engine is what gave Carol Danvers her powers.
