Hala-in-the-Highest
The afterlife of the Kree religion.
Belief in the Gods of Pama has declined over the centuries, replaced by the cult of the Supreme Intelligence or, in some eras, governmentally enforced atheism. However the concept of Hala-in-the-Highest persists in Kree language and culture. "May we meet in Hala-in-the-Highest" was originally part of the Kree wedding vows, and is still used as a declaration of love or friendship.
At various times, it has also been used to refer to a theoretical utopian future, a point when Kree society will have reached its highest possible zenith. The expressed intention of the Utopian Kree is to achieve Hala-in-the-Highest.
