JARVIS <WIP>
JARVIS (a.k.a. Just A Really Very Intelligence System)
JARVIS is an Artifial Intelligence created by Tony Stark. Although his primary purpose is to assist Tony, running Tony's Mansion and Stark Tower, as well as assisting in opperating the Iron Man Suits,, he appears to be fully sapient and is capable to refusing Tony or contradicting him.
Bruce Banner was the first person other than Tony to understand the nature of JARVIS's intelligence, as though he dealt regularly with Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan they lacked the knowledge of AI to make the connection. Although initially suspicious, Bruce and JARVIS did eventually become friends.
In the original timeline, JARVIS was destroyed during the creation of Vision due to having been badly damaged by Ultron.
In the revised timeline, JARVIS is the sole creator of Vision and Vision considers him his father.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
While JARVIS does have physical hardware, primarily stored in Tony's Mansion and Stark Tower, he also has backups in the New Avengers Facility and Stark Industries HQ as well as a number of other properties Tony owns, and he is capable of running from any of them. He therefore does not consider himself to have a physical form in any meaningful sense.
His is capable of autonomously opperately the Iron Man Suits if he wishes to have a body, and has Tony's permission to do so, or to build himself another physical form, however he prefers to use this only for emergencies.

Personal history
Though earlier iterations of the JARVIS programme existed, the first self-aware version was created when Tony was 27. JARVIS therefore considers 1997 to be the year he was 'born'.
Although they lack complex AI, JARVIS considered Dummy, U and Butterfingers to be something like younger siblings.
Gender Identity
As an AI, JARVIS has no physical body and does not consider himself to have a gender. He uses He/Him pronouns for convinience's sake, and because that is what Tony used for him in the early days of his creation.
