Red Dwarves
Red Dwarves are one of the two main subspecies of Dwarves, named for their (usually) red or red-blond beards and hair.
There is considerable debate as to whether Red Dwarves are the original Dwarven species, from whom the Black Dwarves are descended, or whether Red Dwarves are the result of interbreeding between Mountain Giants and either Black Dwarves, or a third, now lost, species of Dwarf.
Red Dwarves are native to the destroyed planet of Nidavellir, and are now found exclusively on the Nidavellir Ringworld.
They are typically between 12'0"-14'9" tall, with red, orange, or golden hair and beards. Although they are dramatically taller than Black Dwarves, their proportions are similar, having longer torsos and shorter legs and arms than is typical for Humans or Asgardians. Their skin is typcially peach, similar in tone to most Asgardians, although brown skin is not unknown.
