Triskellion
The Triskelion was one of the three main headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D, alongside the Hub and S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters. It was located on Theodore Roosevelt Island, on the Potomac River between Washington, D.C. and Virginia.
After Bobbi Morse's release of S.H.I.E.L.D files and the subsequent dissolution of the organisation, the site was swarmed by F.B.I agents looking for evidence of S.H.I.E.L.D's crimes. It was eventually repurposed as an administrative center for the Department of Damage Control.
Architecture
The Triskelion is an enormous complex that occupies almost the entire island. Its central structure is composed of three towers supporting a shared circular top floor.
Under S.H.I.E.L.D. it consisted of opperations rooms, training facilities and an underground aircraft hanger, as well as Director Nick Fury's office, storage rooms for physical files, and the chambers of the World Security Council, which included Alexander Pierce's office.
Under DoDC ownership, the administrative sections remain largely unchanged, but the aircraft hanger as been repurposed into storage for dangerous extra-terrestrial technology siezed by the department.
