Valaskjalf Throne Room

The main hall of Valaskjalf, housing the All-Mother's throne.

As well as coronations, recieving ambassadors and dignitaries, royal weddings, and other matters of state, the throne room is also used when the All-Mother hears petitions, issues legal rulings, and holds court.

The throne room is one of the oldest parts of the Palace, being based on Bor's original longhouse, although it was developed considerably by Odin who raised the height of of the roof.

Contents & Furnishings

The Throne of Buri is built into the room, rather than being free-standing. Despite the name, it was crafted in the later days of Bor's reign, and was never used by Buri. The arms of the throne are in the shape of boars, the heraldic animal of both Bor and Odin.
