Now regent of Asgardian Empire, Loki concocts a plan to prove himself to Odin by killing his ancient enemy, Laufey.
He travels to Jotunheim to meet with his parent, and convinces them that if they kill Odin, making Loki the All-Father, Loki will allow Jotunheim to cecede from the Empire.
In reality, he intends to kill Laufey in front of Odin, saving his adoptive father's life, and making himself the hero.
