Jotunheim
Jotunheim is one of the Nine Realms. It exists on the middle level of Yggdrasill, along with Midgard. It is home to several races of Giants, among them Frost Giants, Storm Giants, Mountain Giants, and Brine Giants. It is a cold and barren world with very little sun light and almost perpetual winter.
It lacks a centralised government, with the individual races governing themselves. However, due to being the most numerous race, as well as the only race not found on any other Realm, the leader of the Frost Giants uses the title King of Jotunheim, and is generally accepted to be the most important political figure on the planet. Jotunheim is represented on the Congress of Realms by two senators, the Frost Giant Helblindi and the Mountain Giant Oggmunder Dragglevadd Vinnsuvius XVII, while the Storm Giants attend as an unaffiliated race.
The chief city of Jotunheim is Utgard, built by the Frost Giant Utgard-Loki, who was a contemporary of Buri.
Many of the planet's settlements and buildings began to deteriorate after the Casket of Ancient Winters was stolen by Odin during the Asgard-Jotunheim War.
